A Time for Remembrance - Cambridge, UK

A service for anyone affected by the loss of a baby or child

The roses at the altar, ready for the Act of Remembrance, where we light a candle and take a rose for every baby or child we are remembering.

A Time for Remembrance

Next service: 22 May 2011, 3pm

This special service is held at the Wesley Church in the centre of Cambridge (UK) every May, usually on the third Sunday of the month, at 3pm.

The service is for anyone affected by the loss of a baby or child, regardless of when and how the loss occurred. Whether your loss was in pregnancy through miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy, or at birth, or in babyhood, or if your loss was of a child in childhood or adulthood, all are welcome.

We hope that the service offers you a unique opportunity  to acknowledge your baby or child, in the company of other people who understand your need to be there, because we share that need too.

The service has been held at the Wesley Church since 1993, organised by representatives from various bereavement support organizations. We are honoured by the support by the Minister and officers of the Church to help make the service happen.

This website has been created to help to spread the word about the service, and to create a space where tributes can be posted about those we have loved and lost, as well as share the readings, poems and song lyrics that are used at the service.
