A Time for Remembrance - Cambridge, UK

A service for anyone affected by the loss of a baby or child

About us

A Time for Remembrance was begun in 1993 by a group of representatives of support organizations, including:

· The Miscarriage Association

· Antenatal Results and Choices (formerly SATFA)

· Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS)

· The Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths

· The Compassionate Friends

The concept behind the service was, simply, to provide an opportunity to acknowledge our losses. The service is intended for anyone affected by the loss of a baby in pregnancy, or at birth, or in babyhood, or a child in childhood or adulthood. It doesn’t matter how recent or how long ago your loss was,  or how or why it happened. All are welcome. For more information about the various support organizations, please use the links given on this page.

Representatives of the Miscarriage Association and the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths continue this early work, organizing the service in conjunction with the Minister and officers of the Wesley Church.
